Datanomic Limited specializes in end-to-end data quality management and information assurance. It has developed dn:Director, an innovative data quality software system that has the ability to profile, audit, clean or match data of any type, from any source, with business-application specific real-time error prevention and data compliance solutions. The company strives to solve data quality and business process problems for its rapidly growing European blue chip client base across sectors including telecoms, finance, utilities, government and engineering. Customers include Barclaycard, GAM, Deutsche Bank, Davy, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, BellSouth and AMEC Oil & Gas.

Datanomic was founded in 2001. It recently completed its a funding round, securing $6.3 million investment from existing investors 3i and DN Capital with repeat participation from other Datanomic investors.

Dr Jonathan Pell ACA, Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan started at Datanomic in 2003 as CFO. Jonathan was previously Finance Director, EMEA at Convergys Corporation (NYSE - CVG), where he had overall financial responsibility for its billing software and services business. Prior to Convergys he was Financial Controller of Geneva Technology, a Cambridge UK based billing software company. During his period at Geneva he helped grow the business into a $50m revenue and 450 people company prior to the acquisition by Convergys in 2001 for $692m.

Jonathan has also held senior financial positions within Thomas Cook Retail (travel agencies), and Semitool Inc (semiconductor) businesses.

Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant in 1996 with Coopers and Lybrand, having gained a PhD at the University of East Anglia and a BSc at the University of Wales, Bangor.
Ian Clubb, Chief Operating Officer

Ian initially joined Datanomic as Chief Technology Officer in 2004 to lead the specification and development of the revolutionary dn:Director product. In addition to his product responsibilities, he now also leads pre-sales and strategic partner engagements.

Prior to Datanomic, Ian was Vice President, Advanced Systems at Convergys Corporation (NYSE - CVG) where he led a team of senior architects in the development of highly scalable transaction processing architectures, exploiting a range of emerging technologies. Ian joined Convergys as part of their acquisition of Geneva Technology where he led Product Management for the international award-winning billing software.

Ian has a degree in Mathematics and a Diploma in Mathematical Statistics from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
