Staff
Peter Thoms was appointed to the Board in December 1992. A Chartered Accountant, he worked for the Gillette Company for 15 years, first as Vice-President & Director of Finance of Gillette Canada Inc., and then as Controller of Gillette Northern Europe. Peter moved from there to the position of Group Finance Director of Amstrad plc. Peter joined NXT (formerly Verity Group) in 1992 as Finance Director and Company Secretary, and in 2005 was appointed Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed Chief Executive in 2007. | Kate Barnes joined the Board as Finance Director and Company Secretary in July 2007. Ms. Barnes had previously been NXT’s Financial Controller NXT since joining the Company in 2004. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Kate trained with PWC before moving to AMP and then to Monsanto Company as Financial Controller, Northern Europe. |
