 Simon Crossley, PartnerSimon is a partner in the technology practice, with over ten years' experience of advising technology companies and institutions investing in or collaborating with technology companies. Simon's first degree was in chemistry/biochemistry, providing an ideal platform to provide effective advice to complex businesses. Based in the Cambridge office, he specialises in transactions that involve the generation and exploitation of new technology and intellectual property rights including license agreements, R&D collaborations, joint ventures, co-promotions and other commercial arrangements. He also has extensive expertise of academic/commercial technology transfer arrangements, having acted for numerous start up companies spinning out of UK universities such as Cambridge, Imperial, Nottingham and others. He is a frequent speaker on this topic and has presented workshops at Praxis seminars (being the seminar training programme for academic institution technology transfer professionals). Simon has worked in-house with technology companies as well as in private practice, most recently as EU counsel to a NASDAQ listed US software house.  Anthony McGurk, PartnerAnthony is a partner in the corporate practice.
