In business since 1938, Dialight plc has been pioneering some of the most innovative applications in LED technology since it was developed in the early 1970s.
Its LED products for the electronics industry have given engineers better ways to indicate status on all kinds of equipment. Dialight LED traffic signals have saved municipalities millions of dollars in energy costs and maintenance. Its LED signal and marker lights for heavy-duty vehicles often outlast the vehicles themselves
The group underwent a radical change in strategy between 2003 and 2005, changing its name from Roxboro Group plc (in September 2005), selling off two divisions and focussing on LED technology.

 Roy Burton, Group Chief ExecutiveAppointed President and CEO Dialight Corporation in July 2002, Roy Burton became Group Chief Executive in September 2005. Now with many years’ experience in the electronics industry, Roy started his career in the UK working with Philips Electronics, ITT and Amphenol Corporation with whom he transferred to the US. In 1994 he became Group President Electronics for Thomas and Betts Corporation headquartered in Memphis, and prior to his appointment at Dialight was CEO of Coraza Systems Inc. |  Cathy Buckley, Group Finance DirectorCathy joined Roxboro in 1999 as Company Secretary and was appointed as Group Finance Director in September 2005. Previously she qualified and spent 12 years post qualification at KPMG, Birmingham. |
