Stuart Henderson , Partner

Stuart heads Deloitte’s European Life Science & Healthcare practice and sits on the Deloitte Global industry leadership team for the sector.
Based in Cambridge, he has served clients in the sector for 20 years primarily in the capacity as audit partner and reporting accountant.
He has a wealth of audit and transaction experience having worked with clients such as Acambis, Ark Therapeutics, Cambridge Antibody, CeNeS, Chiron, Cytomyx, Innovata, Merck, MMI, Quadrant Healthcare, Norwood immunology and Schering Plough.
Richard Blackwell , Partner

Richard is the Partner in Charge of Tax for the Cambridge office. Richard’s clients include a wide range of UK plcs and major global multinationals with a strong emphasis on technology. Along with the tax team he advises on the tax implications of a wide range of business issues including M&A, internal restructuring, transfer pricing as well as tax issues arising for family companies and entrepreneurs.Prior to joining Deloitte, Richard worked for eight years for General Motors in the UK and France in a number of UK and European Tax Director roles. He seeks to use his experience as a client to ensure that all our tax advice is practical and pragmatic and that even the most complex tax issues are explained in an understandable way.
Anthony Bennett , Director

Anthony is a Director in the Global Employer Solutions Group within the Midlands Tax Practice and leads the Employment Taxes Consulting team in Cambridge and St Albans, specialising in employment taxes issues within the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of PAYE, NIC and cost effective delivery of remuneration, expenses and benefits both in the UK and overseas. A former Inspector of Taxes, Anthony has a diverse range of clients, ranging from a number of FTSE 100-250 multi-national companies through to smaller biotech and listed companies.
Colin Hailey , Director

Colin is a Director in the Business Tax Group in the Cambridge office. He specialises in corporate tax issues such as EIS and CT relief, R&D tax credits, company structuring and supply chain planning.Colin has over ten years of experience in tax and works with a wide range of companies in the pharmaceuticals sector, from large listed overseas groups to small high-growth start ups.
Stuart Savage, Director

Stuart is a Director responsible for our Indirect Tax teams in both Cambridge and St. Albans.
Formerly an officer of HM Revenue & Customs, Stuart is responsible for the co-ordination of all VAT services provided by Deloitte in this region. Stuart has a track record of identifying VAT saving opportunities for clients in both the public and private sector.
Most recently, Stuart has been involved in providing advice to large corporate organisations particularly in the technology sector.
