Cynosure Chemistry Research Ltd has well-equipped laboratories located on the Babraham Research Campus.

It works with clients from industry and academia to provide pure and applied chemistry research services.

Much of its business involves providing expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, whether this is in deriving a novel synthetic route, drug design or working at the biology-chemistry interface, the chemistry principles involved are the same.

The range of projects undertaken has been, and is likely to continue to be very broad. It is often presented with "unusual projects" which require a high level of intellectual input, and which can be difficult to outsource to other companies.
