Amino software is designed to manage all types of digital content, enabling the provision of multiple services such as voice, data, broadcast TV, and on-demand services in a single consumer device.
The company develops and supplies the AmiNET family of digital set-top boxes, based on its software technology, which have been adopted by telecom service providers for broadband TV deployments worldwide. Building further on its core software, it also develops digital, on-demand TV systems specifically for the hotel and leisure industry.
Amino Holdings Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Amino Technologies plc, is an intermediate holding company, owning the entire share capital of both Amino Communications Limited and Amino Communications L.L.C.
Amino Communications Limited is the principle trading company of the Amino group, primarily responsible for the research and development, manufacture, sales and marketing of the Group’s products.
Amino Communications L.L.C., a US limited liability company, provides sales and customer support in North and South America.
Amino Technologies plc, the ultimate holding company of the Amino group, was admitted to the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange on 9 June 2004.

Joined as a non - executive director in June 2007 and was appointed CEO in June 2008. He is Chairman of Crisp Thinking and a non-executive director at IT Forum Foundation. Previously, he was CEO BT Entertainment where he devised and ran the company's IPTV initiative (BT Vision), chaired their Premium Rate Services activity, pioneered their Digital Media Services and led BT's relationships with the media world. Prior to that Andrew was Director Online Services and was responsible for all value-added services developed to complement Broadband in the UK - including VoIP, security and payment services. Before joining BT, Andrew was founder & CEO of eVerger, an eMarketing focused venture fund created in April 2000 by Aegis Group, a leading communications and marketing consultancy, and Warburg Pincus, the global private equity partnership, which together committed $100m to the venture. Before that, Andrew was COO of eVentures, the Internet incubator owned by News Corporation and Softbank. He was the founder and CEO of LineOne, the Internet service provider now known as Tiscali UK, and established News International's initial Internet presence back in 1994. | Stuart joined Amino as Finance Director in June 2001. Stuart's track record is in strategic planning and financial management for fast-growth technology businesses. He joined Amino from Cartezia Limited, a provider of services and technology to existing and new digital businesses and ventures. He previously worked for CyberLife Technology Limited, in the field of artificial life technology, a spin-out from Millennium Interactive Limited, a developer and publisher of entertainment software. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Price Bailey, Stuart spent five years at Coopers & Lybrand, where he specialised in fast-growth companies and corporate recovery. |
