Active Hotels helps both hoteliers and distribution partners capture the lucrative online travel market. For every reservation delivered through the Active Hotels system, it receives a commission from the hotels, which is shared with its distribution partners.

Active Hotels was founded in 1999 in Cambridge and is now a subsidiary of US-based priceline.com (NASDAQ PCLN).
