Domino Printing buys On-Line Coding Ltd for £300,000
Domino Printing Sciences plc said it had acquired On-Line Coding Limited, the UK distributor of Domino's Easyprint thermal transfer overprinting (TTO) product range.
Based in Reading, UK, On-Line Coding specialises in the supply and support of TTO equipment. The sellers, Richard Judson and Mark Webb, who have over 20 years experience in the sector, will join Domino's UK team.
On-Line Coding achieved sales of £750K in its last full year and is profitable.
Domino paid £300,000 up front. Additional consideration is payable based on the results of the combined businesses over a five year period, the Cambridge-based group said.
Domino expects a neutral effect on earnings in the first year.
Its share price gained 5.75p on the news to reach 340p, valuing the company at £380m. The group has recorded consistent growth over the past five years, and this acqusition follows others of a simliar size under MD Nigel Bond (pictured).
