Briefs: Plasmon raises £10m in placing; Autonomy signs up Symantec

Plasmon plc, professional archive specialists, said it has received £10m following the completion of the placing of 100 million shares. The Group said its results for the year ended 31 March 2008 are broadly in line with the Board's expectations, reflecting a sales mix of declining legacy products and growth in archive solutions.

“Execution of the new growth strategy, announced in early February, is progressing ahead of schedule and underpins the Board's confidence in the prospects for significant sales growth in 2008/09,” the company said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange.
